„As carpenters/joiner we discovered our passion for the material wood. This also prompted us to do the Bachelor of science in wood technology at the Holzfachschule in Biel, where we met. In the summer of 2020, we launched the fagusnoir project as part of our master‘s thesis at the FHNW HGK. There we studied design at the master‘s studio.“
We place particular emphasis on the hybrid practice between design and wood technology. We hope that this will provide a cross-disciplinary, multifaceted approach to fagusnoir.
